Neoko est une jeune fille de petite taille aux cheveux bruns et aux yeux violets. Très renfermée, elle a trouvé en Esquisse, un monde onirique qui lui convenait. Ses compagnons de voyage étaient un livre ayant la particularité de changer de contenu à chaque ouverture et son matériel à dessin. Lors de la première tempête, elle a changé d'apparence : ses cheveux ont poussé et ont noirci tandis que ses yeux sont devenus rouges. Elle a gagné un compagnon de voyage, un serpent aussi noir que sa chevelure qui lui semble pour l'instant pacifique. Elle a évité l'oeuf mais n'a pas échappé à la seconde tempête dans laquelle elle a perdu son livre - elle n'a réussi qu'à conserver une page de celui-ci. De retour en ville, Neoko s'est rendue compte que l'univers dans lequel elle se trouvait n'avait plus rien d'un rêve. Choquée par les évènements, elle a dû mal à parler et communique à l'aide de son matériel à dessin ou par des signes de la main. Vu qu'elle a subi la deuxième tornade seule, elle semble plus enclin à aller vers les autres désormais.
